Application Instructions:

Fabrics must be either new or cleaned by professional dry cleaners prior to application. Applying Flame Retardant to fabrics cleaned only with a surface cleaning method such as vacuuming may result in permanent stains on the fabric.

  • Conduct a test application in an inconspicuous area to confirm effectiveness. Fabric needs to be water soluble in order to retain flame retardancy.
  • Cover surrounding areas to prevent overspray.
  • Apply using pressure sprayer at 16 inches away, taking care to apply a consistent amount of product. Can also be dipped.
  • Fabrics should be hung dry afterwards, product requires 24 hours to cure.
  • Clean overspray with warm water and soap.
  • Coverage of approximately 150 square feet per gallon depending on type and weight of fabric.

With our team of licensed and experienced technicians stationed throughout the United States, you can trust us to provide flame retardant solutions wherever and whenever you need them.
